LCN EARTH vs Chippewa Middle School

The LCN EARTH swim team had their second meet of the season competing against Chippewa Valley. The results of the meet were mixed with EARTH 7^th & 8^th graders winning the meet by a score of 90 – 65 but the 6^th graders were defeated by a score of 64 – 47. Over-all though EARTH beat Chippewa Valley by a combined score of 137 – 129. It was a very good meet with numerous outstanding races.

Leading the victory for the 7^th & 8^th graders by winning their events were: Gavin D. – 100 Free & 50 Back, Maddie C. – 100 IM & 50 Breast, Addison T. – 50 Free & 200 Free, 1-meter diving – Morgan L. In addition, the following swimmers had personal best times in the following events: 100 Free – Natalie D., Caden W. & Amar T., 50 Free – Sophia P. & Maegan D., 50 Fly – Lucy K. & Davin L., 200 Free – Caden W. & Dustin B., 50 Back – Natalie D., Damien S. & Anna D., 50 Breast – Davin L., Sophia P., Anna D. & George D.

For the 6^th graders, the following swimmers won the following events: Laney K. 100 IM & 50 Fly, Maggie M. – 50 Free, & Sofia S. – 50 Back. These swimmers had personal best times in the events in which they were entered: 100 Free - Sophia S. and 50 Back – Dahl L.

The teams next meet is against Utica next Thursday. Please remember to visit the event page to select your swimmers’ potential events and volunteer to help conduct a successful swim meet.

Also, please remember to send the $80 payment to Coach Mike. The website does not accept credit cards, so either pay cash or a check made out to LCN SWIM TEAM.
